Patriot Electric and Mechanical, Inc. Company History

Patriot Electric and Mechanical, Inc. was started in 1995 by Talbot Watkins III. Starting with one van and a tool bag, Talbot set his goal on becoming a major player in electrical contracting for Anne Arundel County, Maryland. To his delight, by the end of the year he had two vans and three employees to meet the growing demand for his services.

Growth and change has been a constant at Patriot Electric and Mechanical, Inc. In just fifteen years, our Company has expanded to more than 100 employees who work from a 5 acre W-2 zoned compound to provide electrical maintenance services to a wide range of customers throughout Maryland, Delaware, Washington, DC, Northern Virginia, Southern PA and North Carolina.

Patriot Electric and Mechanical, Inc. takes particular pride in the many clients who are repeat customers, including a multitude of major residential home builders and contractors providing single family homes and townhomes to the public. In addition, we offer a full line of services to commercial and military contractors, and we take great pride in our offering quality residential services as well.

Maryland Community Involvement

Patriot Electric and Mechanical, Inc. believes firmly in sharing its success and giving back to the community. Patriot has given scholarships to the local high schools and technical trade centers to assist worthy students in need obtain funding for their continued education. We also sponsor athletic programs at Northeast and Chesapeake High Schools.

Our staff is involved in Little League associations, and we work to assist those who are less fortunate. Patriot Electric and Mechanical, Inc. has proudly contributed monthly to the Anne Arundel Food Bank's "Happy Helpers for The Homeless" ministry, which not only feeds but ministers to the needs of the homeless of Anne Arundel and Baltimore City.

Our President, Mr. Watkins, is active in the Pasadena Business Association and the local Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the Associated Builders and Contractors Association and the Home Builders Association. Mr. Watkins is also the head coach of the Annapolis Area Christian School Varsity baseball team.
